My advice is make good use of the conversion university and review all the material even if you think you know it all already. Some of the questions are dead easy, others are designed to make you think. And, yes, I do think it was useful to take the test. Best of luck!
Google Analytics Individual Qualification

I’ve just passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification.

Paid search driving less traffic to retail

This week’s new media age published research from Hitwise demonstrating that traffic to retailers’ sites from natural search increased to 30.9% from 26.5% between April 2008 and April 2009.

Online retailers receiving less traffic from paid search

A new report from Hitwise suggests that the amount of traffic that online retailers receive from paid search – i.e. from sponsored or paid for links on search engines has fallen over the last 12 months. During March 2009, 8.9% of all UK Internet visits to online retailers came from a paid search listing, down from 10.1% in March 2008. Interesting….as net users become more sophisticated are they eschewing PPC ads?
